Passport, Visa & Entry Requirements Disclaimer
Last updated: August 6, 2026
Entry rules are set by governments and change without notice. WanderLuxe Travel provides guidance as a courtesy, but each traveler is solely responsible for holding correct documentation. Our visa support desk can be reached at booking@wanderluxetravel.com.
1. Passports
- Many countries require at least six months' validity beyond your return date.
- Two to four consecutive blank pages are often required for visas and entry stamps.
- Damaged, water-stained or unsigned passports are routinely refused at check-in.
- Names on tickets must match the passport exactly, including middle names where shown.
2. Visas and travel authorizations
Depending on your nationality you may need a visa in advance, an eVisa, a visa on arrival, or an electronic travel authorization (for example ESTA for the United States, ETA for Canada, or the EU's ETIAS). Approval is entirely at the discretion of the issuing authority. Apply as early as possible; processing can take weeks and expedited service is not always available.
3. Transit counts
Airside transit, changing airports in the same city, and connections requiring baggage reclaim can each require a transit visa. Check every country on your routing, not just your destination.
4. Health documentation
Some destinations require yellow fever certificates, polio boosters, proof of vaccination or specific insurance minimums. Consult a travel health clinic 4–8 weeks before departure. We do not provide medical advice.
5. Minors and special cases
Travelling with children may require a birth certificate, or a notarized consent letter when one parent is absent. Dual nationals, permanent residents, refugee-document holders and travelers with prior immigration or criminal records should confirm requirements directly with the relevant embassy.
6. Onward travel and funds
Airlines and border officers may require proof of onward or return travel, proof of accommodation, and evidence of sufficient funds. Carry printed copies.
7. Denied boarding or entry
If you are refused boarding or entry because documentation is missing, incorrect or expired, the trip is treated as a no-show. No refund is payable by WanderLuxe Travel or, in most cases, by the supplier, and any repatriation cost is yours. Verify requirements with the official embassy or consulate of every country on your itinerary before you travel — that source prevails over any information on this website.
